AILO Hot Topics Webinar with Ai-London and Milliman

Ai-London: “How to Scale Expertise and Drive Real-World AI Results”
The pace of technological change increased in 2021, and if history is any guide, will continue to accelerate in 2022. At the leading edge of high tech are data science and artificial intelligence, two disciplines that promise to keep the pace of change at a high level.
Ai-London, a long-term AILO Associate Member, provide Ai-Driven Insurtech solutions that enable Life & Pension providers to be more agile and innovative. With their strategic partners, City, University of London, Ai-London will present their Ai Value Driver Approach (Ai-VDA), that identifies the most promising focus areas, the business case and operational impact of using machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to recognise, predict and recommend with greater accuracy.
Andrew Hubbard:
In September 2019, Andrew was invited by EIT Digital to present on ‘Artificial Intelligence as a Disruptor’. This proved to be a pivotal moment, as Andrew throw itself into the world of Artificial Intelligence. This led to strategic partnerships with EIT Digital and City, University of London, winning EU funding for a four-year Industrial PhD programme to ‘Utilise AI to Close the Financial Advice Gap’.

Dom Palaczky:
A major focus for Dom’s role at Ai-London is to use artificial intelligence to develop a system that can segment and profile customers using clustering techniques, and then find the best ways to engage with those customers based on what the data suggests. Dom is also really interested in seeing how the business can use his academic learning and put it to practical use.

Professor Andrew Clare:
Andrew is the Professor of Asset Management at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) and the Associate Dean for Corporate Engagement, where he is responsible for Bayes (formerly Cass) Exec, the business school's executive education arm. Andrew also serves on the investment committee of the £5.0bn GEC Marconi pension plan, he is a trustee and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the £3.0bn Magnox Electric Group Pension scheme; he is a pension’s advisor to Ferrovial plc; and he is an independent member of Quilter Plc’s Investment Oversight Committee.
