The Association of International Life Offices

The Association of International Life Offices (AILO) is a trade organisation representing international life companies within the member states of the EEA, UK Crown Dependencies, and the British Overseas Territories of Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.


We help to develop knowledge within our membership and externally, to ensure the cross-border market is understood by those in the wider industry and to help develop best practice amongst our Members and the industry. The AILO eLearning Programme is available exclusively to AILO’s Members.


AILO has developed strong links with regulators and law makers, providing us with the opportunity to influence the way the industry develops and how it is perceived.


We provide statistical and other data to help Members develop strategy to support their key activities and projects.


AILO is led by the Management Committee, which conducts the day to day running of the Association.  In addition, there are six functional sub-committees which focus on the issues that are important to AILO’s Members.
